The 17th edition of the Gaudí Awards celebrated the best of Catalan cinema while taking a significant step toward sustainability. This year, the event organizers enhanced their eco-friendly efforts through a collaboration with Canaletas.
As part of their commitment to reducing environmental impact, the Gaudí Awards sought an alternative to single-use plastic bottles. Canaletas, a company with over 60 years of experience in manufacturing of water coolers and water dispensers a strong commitment to sustainability, joined the initiative by installing water coolers, ensuring fresh and purified water throughout the event. Additionally, 1,800 exclusive reusable glass bottles were distributed, serving both as a practical solution and a meaningful souvenir for participants.
Paz Ausin, from the Canaletas management team, expressed her satisfaction with the collaboration:
"We are very pleased with the results. Attendees truly appreciated the convenience of the water dispensers and the uniqueness of the reusable glass bottles, which became a special keepsake of the event."
