The Spain Pavilion is a showcase for Spain's productive and creative industries. Leading companies from a wide range of sectors have been chosen for the equipment.
Canaletas, a Spanish water dispenser manufacturer with more than 55 years of experience, has equipped the Spain Pavilion with its water coolers at the Dubai World Expo, which was postponed due to the pandemic and is now being held from October 2021 to March 2022 under the slogan Connecting Minds, Building the Future. The Expo is expected to bring together more than 200 participating countries and attract more than 25 million visitors.
"We have always had a strong presence in Middle Eastern countries - explains Paz Ausín, Canaletas Export Manager - and showcasing Canaletas’ water coolers to such a large number of visitors, both from the region and from many other countries, will be very beneficial for our brand, which is why we are very happy to have the opportunity to participate".
Canaletas sells 30% of its production to foreign markets, with a consolidated position in Europe, it operates in Spain, France, Germany, Portugal, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Greece and Poland, as well as outside Europe, in North Africa and South American countries, and has extensive experience in the Middle East (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman).
Canaletas water dispensers, with which the pavilion is equipped, are one of the company's latest innovations. It is a hands-free model, operated with no hand contact, making it ideal for an event which a large number of people are expected to attend. The Spain Pavilion is located in the sustainability-themed area, and these water dispensers have been specially designed to fill bottles instead of single-use plastic cups, making them an ideal placement.
"The slogan of both the Expo and the Spain Pavilion, “Intelligence for Life”, is very much in line with the values of our brand: ingenuity, innovative capacity and eagerness to preserve a good quality of life on the planet, for us and for future generations, so we are very grateful and pleased to be able to participate in this event" - explains Jordi Morera, CEO of Canaletas.
