Canaletas has presented the financial results of the year end 2016, an exercise that has been increased in a 20% regarding the year 2015.

Canaletas, a manufacturing company placed in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona) has presented the financial results of the year end 2016, an exercise that has been increased in a 20% regarding the year 2015, having increased a 14% the previous year.
Canaletas exports have also increased a 32% regarding 2015, after having increased a 22% the previous year. “Even though the foreign markets remain fundamental for us – explans Jordi Morera, general director in Canaletas – during the last months we have experienced a national market recovery in Spain”. Approximately the 70% of the company's sales correspond to the national market and a 30% to exports.
The Company attributes this national economy improvement to the consolidation of foreign markets, as well as to entering new countrys and to their capacity to develop water sources that demand special requirements.
“Regarding new markets – Paz Ausín Export Manager in Canaletas, pointed out that a part of the consolidation of our products in the Arab States, we have important projects in North Africa, a market that we are starting to work with”. The success of Canaletas in order to establish ourselves in Countries all over the world, consists in our capacity of adaption. “It isn't the same to produce a water fountain for a jail in Arabia Saudí, taking in account their individual needs as well as the climate conditions, than producing water fountains for a school in Finland or Mexico; our products are costumed-made for each client thanks to our I+D department that are constantly investigating to meet their needs”.
Canaletas closes their financial year as a second consecutive year of capital increases in their total turnover, thanks to both national as international market exportations. Their objective is to continue with this increasment in 2017. With more than 50 years experience in producing water fountains, water coolers and water dispensers, the company has been consolidated as a well known global manufacturer, present in more than 50 countries, with more than 800 distributors.
