Grows by 5% the number of water coolers connected to the main in Spain

Spain has a total of 245,550 drinking water fountains, as data for 2011 contained in the report of Zenith International, consulting for food and beverage markets. The number of bottle water coolers decreased by 1.7% to reach 213,000 units, but the POU (Point of Use) coolers that are connected to the public water network are showing as a rising market which grew by 5% in 2011 and stood at 32,550 units.
Despite the current economic crisis, the water coolers connected to the main have been increasing every year of recession in Spain.
